It’s a Wonderful World

It’s a Wonderful World’ is not funny enough to be a comedy and not suspenseful enough to be a thriller.  That’s not to say it doesn’t have it’s moments of semi-mysteries  and smiles. The typical old movie banter between Jimmy Stewart (as convicted private detective on the run Guy Johnson) and Claudette Colbert ( who plays his kidnapped victim turned loyal partner, poetess Edwina Corday)  is what gives this picture the little moxie that it has.
My wife could only compare this film to Jimmy’s widely better known wonderful film, ‘It’s a Wonderful  Life”, which has angels and kids which produces more wonders.  IAWW is not like sucking lemons but it’s not like drinking lemonade either.
Overall Rating:  Kinna There. Would recommend it only to Die Hard Jimmy Stewart fans but would recommend his Frank Capra films to anyone who wants to watch wonderful movies.
